Now that most of us are trying to live greener, simpler, and more cost efficient lives, we’re paying more attention to Earth-friendly folks like actor, Ed Begley, Jr. A well known environmentalist for more than 30 years, Begley shares his experience on what works and what will save you money in his book, “Living Like Ed: A Guide to the Eco-Friendly Life.”
Begley is a veteran actor probably best remembered for his role on television’s “St. Elsewhere” and the film, “A Mighty Wind.” Also, Begley shares his passion for environmentalism on his reality/cable show on HGTV called, “Living with Ed.” Begley and his wife, Rachelle, live in a self-sufficient solar-powered home in the Los Angeles area.
This Saturday, March 7, Begley will be speaking and signing copies of his book at the Buena Vista Branch Library, 300 North Buena Vista Street, at 2 PM. Begley’s appearance is part of the Burbank Library’s year long Burbank Reads program.
