A Burbank landmark, Frank’s Coffee Shop and Restaurant, 916 West Olive Avenue, is back in business, after falling on hard times and having to close its doors several weeks ago. Today during the pre-opening, manager and former owner, Jose Lopez, and his staff were serving customers just like old times at Frank’s. One customer, chowing down on a hot turkey sandwich, told me the food was even” better than before!”
Frank’s first opened its doors back in the 1950s. It quickly gained a reputation as a friendly neighborhood eatery with great food and old school ambience. Over the years, Frank’s became a favorite location for television and movie production companies to film as well.
The official re-opening is tomorrow, Friday June 15. Frank’s will be open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Old and new customers are invited to come in and celebrate the return of Frank’s.
