Share the spirit of giving by donating to the Holiday Basket Program food drive this weekend. The food drive will be going on citywide. For more than 60 years, the Burbank Coordinating Council has been heading up the Holiday Basket Program, which provides gift baskets and food to more than 500 families whose children are on the free or reduced cost lunch programs in Burbank schools. The need is great, so help out if you can. Volunteers with lists of needed items will be on site at local grocery stores throughout Burbank Saturday, December 8.
