Romancing the Bean. This little place has the best coffee. They have a large variety including specialty coffees. Also, the quiche is delicious, the blueberry muffins are divine.
Their menu is uniquely chosen with a little bit of something for ever taste. They have pressed Sammy’s, (aged white cheddar, taleggio, blue cheese, mayo on walnut raisin bread) – if you love cheese, this is for you.
There is a wonderful Smoked Salmon wrap, I liked this one. Whipped light cream cheese, English cucumber, arugula, spinach . It was just enough, not too heavy. They also make their own granola. It’s delicious as well. Oh, great salads, too!
They even have a menu JUST FOR KIDS peanut butter and jam, and grilled cheese.
The atmosphere is that of a college dining room, where some study while waiting for their lunch. People meet for business or just for fun at Romancing the Bean. The prices go up to $30 with most items in the six to ten dollars range.
They’re open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. -5 p.m. on the weekends. Breakfast is served until 11:00 a.m.
Formerly located on San Fernando Road in Burbank they are new to this Magnolia Boulevard location. This cute little coffee house is worth your time. Parking is a little difficult, but once inside that wonderful coffee will calm you. Hope you give then a try.
