There’s a new Starbucks Coffee in Burbank. The new store at West Olive and West Verdugo Avenues is a week old today. Store manager, Kate Kevorkian, says the reaction from the public has been “wonderful” and there’s ” a lot of excitement” about the store.
For many years, this location was the home of Theresa’s Family Restaurant. Back in the spring, Starbuck’s took over the lease of the property and rebuilt what was a dated restaurant into a modern Starbucks complete with patio seating.
There are more than a dozen other Starbucks locations in the Media City, but Kevorkian says this store is pretty special. It’s a reserve store and has something called a Clover machine, which can brew a cup of any kind of coffee you might want. The Starbucks website raves about The Clover brewing system and claims “… … it will be the best cup of coffee you’ve ever tasted.” This is the only Starbucks in B-town that has this highly touted coffee brewing machine. If you’re a coffee lover, this place is definitely worth checking out.
