What a difference a week makes. Overcast skies and temperatures in the 60s this morning in Burbank. The sun broke through this afternoon and the high could reach the upper 80s. Last Saturday, it was scorching hot — the kick-off to a mini-heat wave, which delivered triple digit temps for several days to the Media City another other parts of the Southland.
Today’s thick cloud cover even suggested we might get some raindrops during the a.m.. However, that didn’t deter a lot of Burbankers from heading out to the Magnolia Car Wash & Detail Center at Magnolia and Victory Boulevards.
