A 29 year-old Santa Clarita man is being held on $1 million bail today, after being arrested by Burbank Police in connection with an assault last night. The attack occurred in the 700 block of Roselli Street at around 11 p.m. The victims, three unidentified females, ages 21, 41, and 67. “All hospitalized in serious but stable condition with cuts/stab wounds,” according to Burbank Police Sergeant Adam Cornils.
Earlier reports indicated a dog was injured as well. Sgt. Cornils says that was not the case, “dog had blood on it from other victims and was released to family.” Cornils went on to say this was not a random crime, but the result of “a personal dispute.”
The suspect was reportedly apprehended by police in the area around 4 a.m. this morning. Cameron Hansen was arrested on three counts of attempted murder. He’s now behind bars at the Los Angeles County jail. Meanwhile, the search continues in the neighborhood for the weapon described as “a black folding knife with a black blade.” Burbank Police are urging anyone who sees the knife to not touch it and contact them immediately.
