Is Burbank a better place to live than Seattle, San Diego or even Boston? You might get some arguments from some folks who live in those other cities — but not from Niche, an online ranking and review website. In the 2015 best cities to live rankings on that site, Burbank scored number 9 — not far behind San Francisco and Manhattan.
Niche rates cities “based on livability using grades for weather, safety, schools, and access to activities, jobs, housing, and transportation. A high ranking indicates that a city offers a high quality of life to its residents,” according to its website.
The Media City got an A plus for “Things to Do” and “Education,” but only a B minus for “Crime & Safety” and a C plus for “Jobs.” Still B-town outranked Glendale and Pasadena. See the details of Burbank’s ranking and the other cities on the 100 best list here.
