Man rescues turkey from Edgehill fire in San Bernardino August 5, 2024 @FirePhotoGirl
A hillside fire in San Bernardino is fully contained at less than 100 acres; however, the damage is heartbreaking. San Bernardino County Fire reports that five homes and an outbuilding were destroyed, and at least three single-family homes were damaged. The cause of the fire remains under investigation today.
The fast moving flames broke out Monday afternoon, August 5, in the 3300 block of Beverly Drive in the Little Mountain area. Evacuations were ordered. The residents were able to get out, but unfortunately at least 8 pets were lost. Photos and video of the Edgehill fire showed one brave man carrying a large turkey to safety.
