Disney is reportedly shelling out big bucks for a new deal with Netflix, the online streaming video and by mail DVD service. The Los Angeles Times says the agreement is worth $200 million and will give Netflix access to a trove of popular television shows from ABC network, Disney Channel, and ABC Family.
Disney made the deal with NetFlix, even though, it’s a part owner in rival Internet streaming video provider, Hulu. The deal sounds like a win-win situation for Netflix users who get unlimited television shows and movies for one low flat-rate monthly fee. More details on the Times website.
