In a terrific article by Richard Ruelas of the Arizona Republic, Nancy Platt, an instructor at the community college where the alleged gunman, Jared Loughner, once attended, is quoted as saying: “We always look for the perpetrators outside of us, different nationalities, or different religions,” she said. “Turns out its just one of us.”
Congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords, who remains in critical condition after brain surgery and the other wounded victims of yesterday’s shooting rampage outside Tucson are being treated at the local University Medical Center. People are coming to the memorial there to show support for the victims who survived and for the six who died.
