The highly acclaimed actress, Meryl Streep, is trying to sell a newly purchased home in the Hollywood Hills for way more than she paid for it. Streep bought an ultra modern house above Sunset Plaza on the Sunset Strip, for $4.5 million in February of 2013, according to the Zillow blog. The 1950s home had been extensively remodeled in 2010 and turned into an ultra-chic property.
Since Streep bought it just a little over a year ago, there doesn’t appear to be much change to the listing, except for the asking price $6.7 million. The actress may be hoping to make a nice profit in the hot Southand market.
The 15, 000 square foot property has a lot of trees and greenery. There’s a large patio, pool, and spa. The home is spacious with 3,500 square feet. Also, each of the four bedrooms has its own bath.

Streep is one of the most accomplished actresses in Hollywood. She has been nominated for an Academy Award 18 times and won three: Best actress for “The Iron lady” (2011), “Sophie’s Choice” (1982), and best supporting actress for “Kramer vs Kramer (1979).
