Another street party in Burbank today. Be-Boppin’ in the Park is set to get underway at 3 p.m. on Magnolia Boulevard, between Hollywood Way and California Street. This is the fifth year for this festival of vintage and classic cars, music, food, and community scene.
They’re expecting somewhere around 15 thousand people to show up for this street party, according to a posting on the Burbank city website.
Community activist Janet Diel sent me an e-mail about a special attraction at Be Boppin’ Park today. Matt Burch of the car-loving TV show, “Operation Repo” will be hanging out at the event, from 3:30-5 p.m., in the Burbank Coordinating Council booth. Big Matt is the Honorary Chairman/Spokesman for Burbank Coordinating Council.
So drop by their booth, learn more about this worthy community group that helps out those in need and get a photo with Burch or his autograph!
