Saturday, March 26 — Children all over B-town are gearing up for a rite of spring — the annual Spring Egg-Stravaganza. Hundreds if not thousands of kids and their camera-toting parents, relatives, and friends will converge on McCambridge Park 1515 North Glenoaks Boulevard for the festivities tomorrow. There will be games, prizes, photos with the Easter Bunny and a series of egg hunts. The event runs from 9 a.m. until noon. More details here.
Monday, March 28 — Community meeting for The Premier on First” mixed use project at 103 East Verdugo Avenue in Downtown Burbank. The project is about 1.8 acres includes several high-rise building for 154 residential units along with hotel and/or office space. The meeting will be in room 104 of the Burbank Community Services Build 150 North Third Street. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 23 — Burbank on Parade has turned into a day long celebration. The kick-off is at 11 a.m. The theme “Our Heroes.” The 35th Burbank on Parade will travel east along Olive Avenue from Keystone to Lomita streets. Following the parade, there will be a car show, street dancing to live musical entertainment and more than a dozen food trucks. Fun galore! More information here.
