Another dramatic change in the weather today. In Burbank, the skies are cloudy and there’s a good chance of rain, even thunderstorms this afternoon. Yesterday, the sun was blazing hot — pushing the temperatures up into the triple digits here in the Media City. Monday’s high turned out to be a record breaker. It reached 102 in B-town — breaking a record for that date — set 25 years ago in 1990, according to the National Weather Service.
The cooling trend is expected to drop the temps considerably in Burbank today, still the high might reach up into the mid-80s. Oh, scattered showers remain in the forecast through tonight.
