Burbank Police motor officers appeared to be out in force and on the look out for traffic violators. Around 7:45 a.m.I saw two traffic stops on Buena Vista Street near Olive Avenue. “That is one of our problematic intersection for traffic collisions around commute time,” BPD Sergeant Adam Cornils told Media City Groove in an email.
The apparent crack down got the attention of others as well. Here’s a tweet that popped up on Twitter today.
Hey @myBurbankNEWS @BurbankLeader: @BurbankPD is pulling over A LOT of drivers today (especially around Olive & Buena Vista). Any idea why?

Myburbank posted a response on its site saying “many accidents on Buena Vista – motor units are working a traffic enforcement detail in area to get drivers to behave better.” I hope it does made speeders, red light runners, and other traffic violators check themselves.
