Burbank Police Deputy Chief Tom Angel is apparently moving on and leaving the Media City behind. A tweet from the Burbank Police Department gave a shout out to Deputy Angel for his five years of service to the department. Here’s that tweet.

Angel joined the BPD in April of 2010. He began his law enforcement career in 1976 with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and retired from that agency in January of 2010, according to a profile on the BPD website. Apparently Angel is now taking on new duties for the Sheriff’s Department.
