Marvel’s blockbuster sequel, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” opened last night with a spectacular $10.2 million at theaters in North America. The action adventure is on track to debut with $90 million for the weekend — or even crash the $100 million mark.
Based on the Marvel comic books, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” is the sequel to the successful “Captain America: The First Avenger” (2011). Chris Evans is the superhero Captain America, aka Steve Rodgers, who joins forces with the Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johannsson, to fight a worldwide covert conspiracy, which soon involves a fearless enemy, The Winter Soldier.
