David Nos is making another run for a seat on the Burbank City Council. Nos a Civil Service Board member and past president of the Burbank School Board, announced his candidacy in a letter posted on the Burbank Leader website this afternoon. ” As your councilman I will be fair, open and communicative. I will address issues and not personalities. It is important that your city council member listens to you, no matter who you are or how long you have made Burbank your home. I will make your interests and concerns my first priority.” Nos said in the letter.
In 2013, Nos made it into the general election and run-off for two seats on the city council. He delivered a strong showing against three incumbents, Dave Golonski, Jess Talamantes, and Dr. David Gordon. Talamantes and Gordon won re-election.
Nos joins three other candidates who have announced they’re off and running for city council, Planning Board Vice-Chair, Chris Rizzotti, Police Commissioner, Elise Stearns-Niesen, and journalist, Will Rogers.
There will be two city council seats on the ballot in the Burbank Primary Election on February 24, 2015.
