The Burbank landscape is dotted with political signs from the various candidates campaigning for the two seats on the city council and the three seats on the Burbank School Board. While most are the typical yard signs you see during the election season — some of the 2015 candidates have come up with some creative alternatives.

Love the super-sized Sharon Springer ice cream cone sign. Springer is one of seven candidates running for Burbank City Council. Another council contender, Elise Stearns- Niesen, has a huge banner displayed on the front of Unique Vintage clothing shop, 2013 West Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank.

Meanwhile, the ballots keep coming into City Hall. Burbank City Clerk, Zizette Mullins, told Media City Groove late today that the number of ballots received has jumped from 7,200 on Friday to “a little over 8,000.”
Voters have until 7 p.m. tomorrow, Election Day for the Burbank primary, to get their ballots to a designated drop-off center or to City Hall.
