A ton of chatter about the premiere of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Monday night rating reportedly show 11.3 million viewers stayed up for the midnight broadcast, according to The Hollywood Reporter. I watched and was disappointed. I’ve seen Fallon on “Late Night” and thought he was a pretty good host. Hipper and more into the pop culture scene than […]

No one picked all of the winning numbers in last night’s Mega Millions draw, so the jackpot rolled over to $154 million! That’s the richest jackpot for that game since last November. A lot of chatter today about the surprise (too most of us) announcement that Comcast has struck a deal to buy Time Warner Cable for $45 billion. Another Hollywood star has passed away. Sid Caesar died today in his Beverly Hills home. TV talk show host/long time friend, Larry King, broke the sad news on KNX 1070 radio today. King called Caesar a “giant of comedy” for making his mark back in the 50s on such TV hits as “Your Show Of Shows,” “Caesar’s Hour,” and “The Sid […]

Mega Millions jackpot stands at $122 million for tonight’s draw. Sure the odds of winning are long, but folks do get wealthy scoring a lesser prize. Last Tuesday, 27 year-old Carlos Cardenas of Whittier bought $5 in Mega Millions lottery tickets. Today, he’s nearly a million dollars richer — after picking all the winning numbers except the Mega Ball in the […]
