Embattled Dodger owner, Frank McCourt, is still fighting to keep control of the team. Yesterday, the Dodgers filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Peter Falk, who became a television icon playing the disheveled, quirky, but brilliant detective, Lieutenant Columbo, died today at the age of 83. Falk’s acting career span 50 years and included two Oscar nominations. The Los Angeles Times has photos and a couple of nice pieces about Falk on its site.
