Human skeletal remains discovered in the Burbank hills were removed today by Los Angeles County Coroner’s investigators. A short while ago, Burbank Police tweeted out “We have cleared the area. Awaiting identification by LA coroners office.”
A city worker reportedly found the remains in brush near the Stough Canyon Nature Center yesterday afternoon. This morning, BPD officers with cadaver dogs were joined by L.A. County Coroner’s investigators at the scene.
At this point, they don’t know if the remains belong to a man or a woman.
