two scoops on an ice cream cone

Go ahead have a scoop or two of your favorite ice cream. It’s National Ice Cream Day! I’m serious. Back in 1984, then President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and July 15 as National Ice Cream Day. Since then, hundreds of new ice cream flavors have been introduced. So what are the two favorite flavors? In a PR Newswire release, the king of ice cream flavors and the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, Baskin-Robbins, announced that in a recent survey it is still chocolate and vanilla! So forget about the calories, cool off in the summer heat and celebrate the day with a generous serving of ice cream.
