It is a Thanksgiving Day week.
In other words, the end of the year 2012 is getting closer.
There is no doubt that the lapse of one year to teenagers is beyond comparison to that of people in their seventies or eighties. However, that is just a difference in feeling. In fact, time flows at a constant speed and the flow of time is always fair to everybody.
Then, what causes the differences in feeling? I wonder whether the duration of time we think we have may make us feel it differently. If we think we have plenty of time, we may feel that time passes by slowly. On the other hand, if we don’t think we have enough time, we may feel that time flies like an arrow.
Looking back at the year 2012 at this point of time, we may have different feelings and thoughts, and may feel the speed of time differently. Some of us may feel cheated and have regrets. Some may see life’s bounty and plenty of things for which to be thankful. However, I think that it all depends on the way in which we think about things in life.
How about you? Do you belong to the former or the latter?
I wish that you’ll be able to think about the past time and people with whom you spent the time and be thankful.
