By chance, have you ever dipped your feet in a small creek in the mountains?
Korea, where I grew up, has a lot of small mountains all over its land. During hot summer days, people frequently go up to the mountains and counter the heat by dipping their feet in the creeks.
Not just the clear and cold water of the creek, but also the sound of stream makes them forget the sweltering heat.
By the way, a stream makes a more pleasant and fresh sound if it flows in a zigzag rather than in a straight way, and if a creek-bed is rough with a variety of shapes and sizes of rocks and pebbles rather than smooth.
Though a big river stream can make us feel refreshed, a little creek which flows through rocks and pebbles can provide us with a more cool and refreshing feeling.
What summer vacation plan do you have this year?
Some of you may have fantastic and luxurious plans and some may not have any grand or specific plans. Though our lives may appear similar to some extent, everybody has their own conditions and ways of life.
However, there is one thing that is the same for everybody.
It is a fact that everyone’s way of life, though different from each other, is precious and beautiful to them.
It is the same as the many different clothes in my cleaners that show the unique styles of their owners.
It is the last week of June and the real beginning of vacation season.
I wish that you will continue to have your own unique precious and beautiful time.
