A major bash planned this evening at Johnny Carson Park. The grand re-opening celebration is set for the 5-8 p.m. with free food, giveaways, face painting, music, and even a kids zone for the little ones. Burbank’s Parks and Recreation Department is spearheading the event.
The park at 400 South Bob Hope Drive, across from the Burbank Studios, reopened quietly earlier this month. The 17.6 acre facility underwent an extensive redesign and renovation, which took over a year. Now it’s available as a wonderful green space for locals as well as visitors to enjoy.
