The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting ready to move on to the National League Championship Series tomorrow. Last night, the boys in blue silenced their detractors and the Padres with a win in game five of the National League Division Series before the hometown fans. The 2-zip score over San Diego was a hard-fought victory.
A lot of the credit for the win is being given to Kike Hernández and pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. However, it took the energy and determination of the whole team to take down the Padres in the NLDS battle. In game four, the Dodgers were on the verge of elimination, but they pulled together and won with an 8-0 blowout in San Diego.
