Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket in California for last Friday’s draw is very rich today. That ticket is worth $180 million or $107.1 million if the winner opted for the cash option. The ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven store in Calimesa in Riverside County. Those winning numbers: 5, 31, 34, 41, 74 and the Mega Ball 3.
This is the second time this year a ticket purchased in the Golden State has won the Mega Millions big money pot. Back on April 4, Leopoldo Choi bought a Mega Millions quick pick at a Century City gas station. That ticket scored a $30 million jackpot. Choi picked the cash option for $16.6 million.
The next draw is Tuesday, August 26, and the jackpot is at least $15 million.
