The Mega Millions jackpot is zeroing in on another milestone today. Right now this elusive money pot is hovering at $291 million — but it could easily crack the $300 million mark before draw time.
The winning numbers from last Tuesday’s game: 7, 12, 41, 44, 59 and the Mega Ball 3. No one in California came close to hitting the big one. In the past few weeks, there have been tickets that matched all of the numbers except the Mega. Some of those tickets paid out at least a million bucks. None was purchased in the Golden State. So we’re due for some kind of win here.
