No one scored the big one in last Friday’s Mega Millions draw, which pumped up the jackpot to $93 million. The draw was not a total washout for two lucky ticket holders in the Southland. Today one winner, Rafael Carmona, dropped by the California Lottery’s Van Nuys office with a ticket holding all the winning numbers from the August 31 draw, except the Mega Ball. It’s worth $390, 857.
That ticket was sold at the Sherman Oaks Chevron located at 14505 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, according to lottery officials. The second lucky ticket was sold at the at Nady’s Market, which is located at 25222 Charlinda Drive #A in Mission Viejo.
Those hot money numbers from last Friday’s draw: 31, 40, 41, 47, 48, and the Mega Ball 45. The next big draw is this evening, after ticket sales close at 7:45 p.m.
