The most popular place for lunch in the Media City today was probably the Burbank City Federal Credit Union on West Magnolia Boulevard. A large In-N-Out truck was parked in front of the financial institution. Members were treated to a free lunch of burgers, potato chips, and drinks from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The credit union has been staging this members only event for more than 10 years.
I asked several members about their free meals. Everyone said it was good. I agree with them. I’m a member and got to chow down on a free burger, too.
The In-N-Out burger giveaway is a “thank you” to the members of the Burbank City Federal Credit Union for their loyalty. At last year’s event, the credit union gave away 901 burgers. Today, an In-Out crew served up 1, 045 burgers, according to Dana Ohm in the marketing department.
