Get your boogie shoes on! The “Come Out & Dance” concert series kicks off for a 9th season this evening. The music and dancing will be on the AMC Walkway at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue.

If you want to polish up your style or learn some new dance moves, free lessons will be provided by “skilled instructors Francisco and Stacey of the California Ballroom Teachers Academy starting at 6:00 p.m,” according to a news released from the sponsor, the Downtown Burbank District.

At 7 p.m. you can get down and groove to the beat of a live 1950s’-1960s rock and roll band — “Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries.” More details here.
