Lookout for traffic jams, delays, and changes in the Media City. President Barack Obama is coming to B-town today for an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” at Warner Bros. Studios. The Burbank Police sent out a traffic advisory this morning and recommends you avoid the following areas:
- There will be hard closures at intersections in both directions on Hollywood Way from San Fernando Boulevard to Olive Avenue from 3:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. and from 5:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
- There will be a complete closure with no traffic on Olive Avenue and Barham Boulevard from Riverside Drive to Forest Lawn Drive from 2:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Burbank Police reminds the public “these closures are subject to change without notice.” So other streets could be closed and traffic diverted as well. So be on the alert.
After his TV chat with Ellen, President Obama is scheduled to attended fundraisers in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles this evening. More on that part of the president’s visit on laobserved.com
