Record breaking weather in Burbank as blistering heat wave continues through Labor Day weekend. Yesterday in the Media City, the temperature soared to 108 shattering a record of 106 degrees on August 31 set back in 2007. The heat wave kicked off at the beginning of the week. The high today in B-town expected to hit triple-digits again.
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning , which remains in effect until tomorrow, Saturday at 10 p.m., for many Southland areas including Burbank and the rest of the San Fernando Valley.
