Every Saturday, Simply Coffee in Magnolia Park will be featuring live music. Today, the duo “Jesse’s Pride” entertained guests on the coffee shop’s patio with acoustic Latin, folk, blues, and jazz.

Simply Coffee began offering live music for the first time last Saturday. They plan to continue providing this musical treat for patrons every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Inside, Simply Coffee has that great smell of freshly brewed java and tasty treats. The owner’s wife, Heidy Otarola, works behind the counter on the weekends. She says her husband, Gonzalo Otarola, has owned the shop for about a year and half. He’s making improvements and adding new things. She told me he wanted to do something special “for neighborhood people” so he’s bringing in “different local artists.” If the groups are as talented as “Jesse’s Pride” I say right on!
