Arnold Schwarzenegger lands new TV gig. The former California governor/actor has been named host of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Schwarzenegger takes over in the 7th season of the reality show for billionaire/super personality/now presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

Box Office – – Once again a film with a heavy African – American cast is at the top of the box office. “The Perfect Guy” is a romance thriller about a successful woman who fights back when Mister Right turns out to be Mister Crazy-Wrong. “The Perfect Guy” debuted in the number spot this weekend with an estimated $26 million. The new thriller, “The Visit,” by famed director/writer, M. Night Shyamalan, had to settle for second place with around $25 million. Tragedy at the scene of the latest Tom Cruise movie. An investigation is underway into the crash of a small plane in the mountain terrain of Columbia, killing two of three men on board last Friday. All three reportedly were pilots, working on the upcoming film, “Mena.” Killed were Hollywood stunt pilot, Alan D. Purwin, and Carlos Brel of Venezuela. American ,Jimmy Lee Garland, survived , but suffered serious injuries.
“Mena” is about real-life drug smuggler/ U.S. pilot, Barry Seal, who later became a CIA operative. More on the plane crash on CNN and ABC .
Controversy over at the Disney Channel about the hiring of a white stuntwoman to double for the African American star on “K.C. Undercover.” The TV series is about to begin its second season with actress, Zendaya, playing the teenaged daughter of spies. Oh, the stunt double is also the wife of the show’s stunt coordinator.
