Two Powerball tickets bought in California for last night’s draw missed hitting the jackpot by only one number. However, each one of those tickets did win a lot of moolah. According to the California Lottery, a ticket with five numbers, missing only the Mega Ball, is worth $1,326,260! One of the hot tickets was bought at Arco am/pm, 1147 North Street, in Newman, up in the San Joaquin Valley.
The second ticket was purchased in SoCal at a Ralphs, located at 1435 West Chapman Ave. in the City of Orange. Here are all the winning digits for the Wednesday, May 28 draw: 23, 27, 32, 35, 59, and the Power Ball 11. A ticket with all those big money numbers would have won the jackpot of $189 million. It didn’t happen, so the jackpot rolls over.
The jackpot is now at around $207 million for the next draw, Saturday, May 31.
