The mail-only ballots for the 2015 Burbank General Municipal Election are coming in at a fast pace. Last Tuesday, City Clerk, Zizette Mullins, reported receiving 7,100 ballots. Now, that number has jumped by more than a thousand. “As of today we have received approximately 8400 ballots, at this point in the primary we received 7800 ballots and 7621 at the last general election, 2013,” according to Mullins. That’s a good sign. Still keep in mind, the City Clerk’s Office sent out around 61,000 ballot packets to Burbank voters. So folks are still holding onto a lot of ballots!
The ballots need to arrive by 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, Election Day. So using the U.S. Postal Service is probably not a good idea. If you’re out and about tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, you can deliver your ballot to one of the designated drop-off centers. Here’s the list.
