Actor Ralph Waite, best known for playing the father on TV series “The Waltons,” has died. Waite appeared in a number of other TV series and daytime soaps including most recently “Days of Our Lives.” Also, he has roles in movies like “Cool Hand Luke” (1967), “The Bodyguard” (1992), and “Cliffhanger” (1993). Waite passed away yesterday at the age of 85. More on Variety.
The hip hop group, De La Soul, is offering up its entire music catalog for free — until tomorrow morning.
