Keep those umbrellas handy. I had to use mine a couple times while out and about in Burbank today. The weather watchers are predicting more showers and thunderstorms will roll through Southern California tonight and tomorrow, maybe even Wednesday as well.
The Burbank hillside area got dumped on by a fast moving rain cell around 9 :30 p.m. tonight. When it pounds the roof like that — we’re talking rain and not light drizzle. No complaints from me. The wet weather means there’s no need to turn on the sprinklers tomorrow.
Temperatures are expected to remain on the cool side, 40 to-mid- 50s at night and 60s-to-low 70s during the day for the Media City. The forecast is not all cloudy skies — a warming trend is expected to take hold in the Southland by the end of the week.
