The Taco Bell at Buena Vista Street and Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank is back in business. It had a soft opening last Friday, when they had to work the bugs out of the computer system. The next day, Saturday, the computers were working and the customers were starting to trickle in. They’re calling this a remodel, but if you remember, construction crews gutted the building and left just the frame back in March.
At first it appeared to be more of a demolition than a remodeling project. That created a lot of chatter in town about a possible new business replacing the Taco Bell.
The newly constructed Taco Bell has some extras like indoor sitting — not much — but a few tables and some chairs. Also, the fast food eatery is pushing a new breakfast menu. The couple I saw having breakfast there on Saturday said the food was pretty good. This Taco Bell opens up at around 7 a.m.
