President Obama on Memorial Day and our fallen heroes. This weekend, Obama offered up praise to active-duty troops and veterans, while he stressed Memorial Day is for those brave warriors who never came home. For many of us, the holiday is a great time to gather for BBQs and parties, shop, or just relax and enjoy our freedoms. We can do more. In his weekly address, the president asked Americans to take part in an act of remembrance from hiring a veteran, reaching out to a grieving military family or simply pausing on Monday for a silent moment of thanks for those who gave all.
