Lottery/SuperLottoPlus—

Someone in the Southland is holding a SuperLotto Plus ticket worth $64 million! The multi-million-dollar numbers were drawn last night. They are 3, 25, 27, 29, 37, and the Mega 17. A 7-Eleven at 240 South Magnolia Ave. in Anaheim, Orange County, sold the jackpot-winning ticket.
This is the first ticket to hit a SuperLotto Plus jackpot since last spring, back on March 28. That jackpot was $10 million, and the winning ticket was sold up in the Bay Area city of Fremont.
Meanwhile, the Saturday, October 17 draw turned out to be lucky for three other lottery players as well. They purchased tickets with five of the winning numbers, missing only the Mega. Each ticket is worth $13,920, according to the California Lottery. One of those tickets was sold up North, in Sacramento County, at a liquor store, 7807 Madison Ave. in Citrus Heights. A second was purchased down here in Long Beach at the Northgate Market, 4700 Cherry Ave., and the third at Stater Bros., 14168 Highway 395, in Adelanto, in San Bernardino County.
The SuperLotto Plus jackpot restarts at $7 million. The next draw is Wednesday, October 21.
