Downtown Burbank is gearing up for tomorrow’s inaugural beer tasting and fall festival along several blocks of San Fernando Boulevard, between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno Avenue.. For those with a love for suds, there will be reportedly 85 ice-cold craft beers on tap during two sessions of sampling: 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. “Each session will showcase both local and out of state craft breweries,” according to a news release.
Some of the breweries participating: Absolution Brewing Co., Angel City Brewery, Figueroa Mountain Brewing, Saint Archer Brewery, Portland Cider Company, Eagle Rock Brewery, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, MacLeod Ale Brewing Co., Island Brewing Company, The Bloody Cure, Ballast Point, Stone Brewing Co. and Firestone Walker Brewing Co.
You must be at least 21 years-old and have a valid ID to enter the festival’s beer sampling area. Tickets are $40 — details here.
The street fair is family friendly with entertainment, including live music, as well as artists, and handcraft vendors. It’s free to the public and runs from noon until 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17.
