Burbank Wood Ranch restaurant opens today. They’re firing up the grill at this much-anticipated eatery in Downtown Burbank for dinner. It’s located at 110 North 1st Street — the old Elephant Bar site. “As a Burbank native, I am excited to return home and bring our award-winning dining experience to this community,”said General Manager Michael Gallagher in a news release. “We look forward to meeting our neighbors and being a part of many summer barbeques to come.”
Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill is known for its high-quality smoked and grilled dishes. Some new items at Burbank include “ultimate BBQ sandwich, a fried chicken sandwich with peanut-cilantro Slaw, and for happy hour, pulled pork nachos. Also on the menu, Angus beef steaks, smoked brisket, slow roasted BBQ chicken and tri tip, along with healthy salads and appetizers. There are vegetarian, vegan options, and homemade desserts as well.
We have been watching the extensive renovations from the outside for several months. Inside, the restaurant reportedly will seat 200 and has an expansive bar area “for happy hours, post-work and game day meet ups.” Today, doors open at 4 p.m. Lunch service will begin a week from this Wednesday on June 22 at 11 a.m.
