The Cartoon Network, introduced its new line-up of programs yesterday and the list includes original animation and the reboot of some classic cartoons starring familiar characters like Scooby-Doo, Bugs Bunny, and Tom and Jerry.
Among the new programs, a miniseries called “Over the Wall” with voices from Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Collin Dean (The War at Home) and Melanie Lynskey (Two and a Half Men). The story revolves two brothers Wirt and Greg, who are trapped in a mysterious world and must travel across this strange land until they find their way home, aided by a wise old Woodsman who gives them directions and a bluebird named Beatrice, according to a news release. It’s a ten part series produced by Cartoon Network Studios located here in Burbank.
Also in a new development, starting March 31, 2014, Cartoon Network hours will change to 6 a.m. to 8.p.m. The Cartoon Network is currently seen in 98 million homes in the U.S. and 194 countries around the globe.
