Gasoline prices just keep on dropping. The Arco station at Hollywood Way and Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank is selling self-serve regular for $2.99 a gallon! Three weeks ago the same station, known to have some of the cheapest prices in B-town, had regular priced at $3.29 a gallon. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen gas prices dip below $3 a gallon in Burbank.
Today the national average for a gallon of regular is $2.917, according to Triple-A. The agency is reporting the average in the state and in our local area is around $3 a gallon for regular.
Gas prices have been on a steady decline for more than a month. Consumers are paying some of the lowest gas prices in nearly four years. The Auto Club says gasoline could drop 5-15 cents more per gallon as we move into the winter months.. The lower gas prices are arriving just in time for the holiday travel and shopping season.
