The deadline is fast approaching for the 31st Annual Holiday Outdoor Decorating Contest in Burbank. So now is the time to put up those fancy ornaments, colorful lights, and other festive decor on your home or business.
The Burbank Civic Pride Committee is conducting the contest and will accept applications until 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 10. There’s no entry fee — the only requirement is a desire to showcase your holiday spirit in the Media City.
The judging will be Thursday evening, December 12. Contestants are requested to leave their holiday lights on from dust until 11:30 p.m on that day. There are three categories: Residential, Commercial, and Youth, for entrants under 16 years of age.
Winners will receive certificates of recognition and get exposure on the Burbank city website and The Burbank Channel. Entry forms and more details on the Burbank city website.
