A new heat record in Burbank. Yesterday the temperature shot up to 104 in the Media City, beating the old record of 103 set back on that date in 1943, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature in B-town today should be lower than the record breaker on Sunday, but it’s still hot. The high temperature expected to soar into the upper 80s perhaps even into the 90s.
A slight chance of rain today, that grows to 30 percent tonight through Tuesday.
